I grew up in the Middle East, where, like anyone from that region, hummus was a staple of my daily life. Over the years, I’ve tasted countless varieties of hummus and have always been passionate about this dish. My entire career has been in the restaurant industry, both as an employee and as a business owner. From a young age, I dreamt of opening a restaurant outside my home continent.

In 2012, I was fortunate to receive a job offer in the hospitality field that brought me to Thailand. After gaining years of experience in the industry and learning the intricacies of opening a business in a completely different culture, I decided it was time to share my passion for cooking and hospitality with the world. What better way to do this than by opening a Middle Eastern restaurant in the beautiful city of Chiang Mai?

Opening my own restaurant has always been a dream of mine – a place that is intimate, with a refined menu, and where things are done differently, personally. At Hummus Chiang Mai, I have combined my vision and passion to create an unforgettable dining experience.

In 2019, after years of preparation and with the dream finally becoming a reality, I opened Hummus Chiang Mai. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, I have successfully navigated these times, continuing to offer guests simple yet precise food and exceptional service.
